GasCast checks every GFS and ECMWF run, totals heating and cooling degree days for the next 16 days, and tells you what changed and why in plain English.
Real screens from GasCast (sample data shown).

Built for natural gas traders who want the weather picture without digging through model maps.
16-day heating and cooling degree days vs. normal, how much each run changed, and the day-by-day breakdown.
A plain-English write-up after every update: which regions moved, whether the models agree, and what to watch next.
See both major models side by side, plus how confident the ensemble is for each forecast window.
Weekly storage vs. the 5-year average and last year, with the next report time always on screen.
Daily LNG feedgas by terminal and power burn, plus production, exports and the monthly balance, plus live grid demand for ERCOT, PJM, MISO, CAISO and more.
NOAA 6–10, 8–14 and weeks 3–4 maps, a city heat map you can play day by day, and a weeks 3–5 demand outlook.
Active storms from the National Hurricane Center, flagged when they're in or near the Gulf of Mexico, where storms can shut in production and LNG exports.
NOAA's 2-week AO, NAO and PNA forecasts, and the seasons since 1981 whose weather looked most like this one, with what came next.
A grid of every forecast day across recent runs, colored by whether it got colder or warmer, so you can spot a trend before it shows up in the total.
GasCast checks for new forecast data about every 15 minutes, all day.
GFS and ECMWF update several times a day. GasCast picks up each run as soon as it's out.
Population-weighted HDD and CDD for the next 16 days, compared to normal and to the last run.
Colder or warmer, which regions moved, and how sure the models are, in a few seconds.

One heating degree day (HDD) is one degree below 65°F for one day. One cooling degree day (CDD) is one degree above 65°F. More HDDs mean more heating demand for natural gas; more CDDs mean more air-conditioning demand, much of it met by gas-fired power plants.
The American GFS and the European ECMWF, plus their ensembles for confidence, and NOAA Climate Prediction Center outlooks for the longer range.
Weather models (GFS and ECMWF) and measured degree days come from NOAA and ECMWF; storage and power grid data come from the EIA. GasCast checks the models against NOAA's measured data every day and shows how accurate each one has been. See How GasCast works for the full details.
