Professional weather services for energy traders cost thousands of dollars a month and are built for trading desks. Individual traders are left with free maps that take an hour to read. GasCast sits in between: the numbers that matter (heating and cooling degree days, model changes, storage, power burn) explained in plain English, updated all day, at a price an individual can justify.

Every forecast is checked against what actually happened, and the results are public on the accuracy page. Estimates are always labeled as estimates.
