Terms of Use

Last updated October 8, 2026. These terms cover GasCast on the web, the Windows app, iPhone and Android.

1. Forecast information only, not advice

GasCast shows weather forecasts, degree days, energy statistics and related information, including summaries and alerts written with the help of AI. All of it is for information only. Nothing in GasCast is investment, trading, financial or legal advice, and GasCast never recommends buying or selling any security, future, option or other instrument. Trading carries substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.

2. Accuracy

Forecasts come from computer weather models and public data sources. They can be wrong, late, incomplete or unavailable, and estimates (such as the weekly storage estimate and power burn) are GasCast's own calculations, not official figures. GasCast is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability.

3. GasCast Pro on the web

• Billing. Web subscriptions are billed by Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• Free trial. First-time web subscribers may get a free trial. You add a card at checkout and are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. One trial per person.
• Introductory price. Introductory monthly pricing applies to new subscribers only, for the period stated at checkout.
• Cancelling. Cancel anytime from Account → Manage subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Payments already made are not refunded except where required by law.
• Price changes. We may change prices for future periods. We'll tell you before a change affects your subscription.

4. GasCast Pro in the phone apps

Subscriptions bought in the iPhone or Android app are billed and managed by Apple or Google under their terms. They renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, in your Apple ID or Google Play settings. Introductory offers are limited to one per account. The iPhone app is also covered by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

5. Your account and acceptable use

• Your subscription is for your own use. Don't share sign-in links or app codes with others.
• Don't resell, republish or redistribute GasCast's data or reports, scrape the service, or try to get around Pro access.
• Discord and Telegram updates are free and may be stopped at any time.

We may suspend access that breaks these terms.

6. Third-party data

GasCast uses data from NOAA, ECMWF (through Open-Meteo), the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the National Hurricane Center and others. Those sources have their own terms, and their data may change or stop without notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, GasCast and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any trading or investment losses, arising from your use of GasCast. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for GasCast in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new date. If you keep using GasCast after a change, the updated terms apply.
